ABOUT THE AUTHOR I am Jukka Eronen, living in the south of Finland. Synchronic presentations™ is the label, logo and brand for all my personal releases and designs. I'm interested in creating art in multiple forms; graphics, comics, music composing, video games, animation, movie making, painting, web design etc. Here's my portfolio. These arts fascinate me especially in the form of fantasy, so in winter 2002 I came up with the idea of creating a fantasy world of my own. Little by little, Springbringer™ evolved from these interests of mine, and appreciating nature, animals and the versatility of life. Ideas (plots, creatures, places) most often come to me while hiking in the forests and nature. Even many of the characters I've created after having found the resemblances of them in the fractals of nature (f.ex. in formations of trees, branches, clouds, snow, ice, water, rocks, etc.). I established Synchronic in 1995 (now Synchronic presentations, since 2004) so 2005 is its 10th anniversary. I also created the Synchronic-logo and font back in 90s, and enhanced it in 2001 (the front symbol was missing before that, though it's always been on top of the letter 'i') and again in 2004 to its current appearing. Springbringer-logo and font I made in 2004 which was based on my Fallbringer (2003) music CD's font. Currently I am drawing comic books, making short movies, composing music and creating oil paintings to make the concept of these fantasy themes come alive. Later I'll possibly find more forms of art. Springbringer includes these worlds and spin-off series: Springbringer™ (New Nature) - a poetic fantasy world of nature, wonderous animals and creatures Windbearer - Awoken to Sleep™ - fantasy saga about a girl who wakes up in an enchanted forest with amnesia The Praying Mantis™ - a pseudo-philosophical SciFi-world Flapstick, featuring Narcos the Cat™ - a psychedelic wonderworld of "2 and a half dimensions" These other branches will probably continue to grow while the legend of Springbringer evolves. INSPIRERS Some of my great inspirers and idols are: Andrei Tarkovsky, Stanley Kubrick, Walt Disney, J.R.R. Tolkien, Carl Barks, Vangelis, many classical and contemporary composers, many fantasy artists, Jean Michel Jarre, Roberta Williams, David Copperfield, Paul Daniels, M.C. Escher, Ted Nasmith... (I also collect the works by all of them, more or less.) I have a lot to thank for my inspiration, imagination and artistry for the influence provided by their art, magic and music, so this is my small tribute and thank you to these geniuses.
