    ABOUT
    This blog is about classic adventure/RPG computer games, their art and collecting. Featuring also other retro game related topics such as pixel art and video games.

    The writer is an avid classic computer game collector/researcher. He is an artist and a composer from Finland. You can see more about his Sci-Fi/fantasy movies, music, comic books and art at www.jukkaeronen.com, and here is his retro pixel art.

    It all started with an IBM PS/1 (80286, 10MHz, VGA 256 colors). With this wonder machine one could draw, compose music, make animations, surf with a modem on BBS', write documents and print. Play games and code them. One could do pretty much everything that you do today – only in a smaller form, of course.

    In addition to PC, also Amiga, C64 and NES got familiar "back in the day". Some of the writer's favorite games for various systems include Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, The Dig, Monkey Island 2, Police Quest (AGI), King's Quest II, Leisure Suit Larry 7, Prince of Persia, Another World, Bubble Bobble, Great Giana Sisters, Super Mario Bros... From the shareware-department some of the most memorable are Astro Fire, Action Supercross (Elastomania), Slicks'n Slide.
